How many rooms do two people need!?!

Sorry I have not blogged for a while but I have been so busy decorating the new house, and just getting settled in! The conservatory is finally complete, and we are so happy with it! I thought you might like to see the step by step photos of it's construction. The house is very big for the two of us, a 4 bedroom property, and you would think we would have enough space, but we have used two of the bedrooms to make a library and a den. We love all this extra living space we have added, and it's nice to have a workshop that is part of the house rather than an outdoor shed that could only be used in the warmer months :)

Russell made a fantastic job of the flooring and skirting, and I have just finished painting the whole room white. It is a lovely bright fresh room, and is much bigger than we thought it was going to be. We also had new white french doors added to the lounge and this gives the lounge a new look too.

I have also been very busy painting most of the rooms including giving the kitchen a whole new Brooklyn style makeover, so loads to tell you in the next few posts. Here is a sneaky peek at the kitchen before and after, and I will cover this in the next blog :)
